UNIBEN is one of the oldest universities in Nigeria. It was established in 1970 and currently has over 70,000 students with Nigeria’s former CBN governor Sanusi Lamido Sanusi as its chancellor, while the vice-chancellor is Professor Friday Faraday Orumwense.
