2). AAUA requires 5 ‘O’ Level credit passes which must include to include Mathematics Physics, English Language, Biology, and Chemistry.
3). IAUE accepts 5 ‘O’ Level credit passes which must include Mathematics, English Language, and any other 3 subjects from Chemistry, Further Mathematics, Agricultural Science, Physics, and Biology.
4). UNIBEN requires five ‘O’ Level credit passes which must include Mathematics, English Language, and three (3) Science or Social Sciences subjects.
JAMB Subject Combination for Computer Education
There are three (3) subjects that you are expected to see in your JAMB UTME examination for Computer Education and you are expected to score not less than 180 (the JAMB cut-off mark for this course for Universities) if you want to study this course in any of the Universities in Nigerian listed below.
JAMB Subjects to Study Computer Education:
3). And any 1 of Physics/Biology/Chemistry
1). UNIBEN requires Physics, Mathematics, and any other Science or Social Sciences subjects.
2). AAUA requires Physics, Mathematics, and any one of Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science, Geography, and Economics.
3). IAUE requires Maths and any 2 of Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Economics, and Geography.
4). UNN requires Physics or Mathematics and 2 other Science subjects.
Direct Entry Admission Requirements for Computer Education
Below are the Computer Education admission requirements for Direct Entry candidates who don’t intend to apply for admission using UTME.
Computer Education Admission Requirement for Direct Entry Candidates:
1). ND in Computer Science.
2). Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes or their equivalents in Mathematics and Physics.
3). NCE distinction credit or merit in Computer Education or Mathematics or Physics.
1). AAUA accepts:
i). Upper credit Diploma in Statistics or Electronic/ Electrical Engineering, Computer Science from recognized Institutions.
ii). NCE credit pass in Computer Science, Mathematics, and any other Science or Social Science subject.
iii). ‘A’ Level Passes in 2 subjects including Mathematics.
2). UNIBEN requires:
i). Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes which must include Mathematics and any Science subject in addition to 3 ‘O’ Level credit passes which should include the English Language at one sitting.
ii). Two (2) or three (3) NCE merit to include Computer Science in addition to 3 or 2 ‘O’ Level credit passes at one (1) sitting.
iii). IAUED accepts NCE credit in Mathematics and any Science subject.
