O’Level Subjects & Requirements

As a UTME candidate applying for Agricultural Cooperative Management in any Nigerian University, you are required to have not less than 5 SSCE credit passes in the following subjects:

1). Biology/Agricultural Science.
2). English Language.
3). Mathematics.
4). Chemistry.
5). And one of any other Science subjects.

NOTE: The O’Level subject Combination applies to NECO, GCE, WAEC, and their equivalent.

WAIVER/SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
i). OOU accepts five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes in the following subjects; Biology or Agricultural Science, Mathematics, English Language, and any other 2 subjects.

JAMB Subject Combination for Agric Cooperative Management

The JAMB Subjects required to study Agric Cooperative Management will be listed below, but be informed that you are expected to score up to 180 (JAMB cut-off Mark for Agricultural Cooperative Management for Universities) if you want to study the course at any University in Nigeria. Below are the three (3) compulsory subjects for Agric Cooperative Management:

1). Biology/Agricultural Science.
2). Chemistry.
3). And anyone other Science subjects.

WAIVER/SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
1). OOU – Same as in Agricultural Extension and Rural Sociology.

Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates

Direct Entry candidates are expected to satisfy the requirements listed below for Direct Entry Admission to study Agriculture Cooperative Management:

1). Two ‘A’ level passes in any of Chemistry, Botany, Biology, Zoology, Agric Science, Mathematics, (Pure & Applied) Physics, Geography, Economics, and Geology.

2). NCE (Agriculture).

WAIVER/SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

1). OOU accepts NCE merit passes, ‘A’ passes in two relevant subjects, ND/Certificate of any of the Professional Examination Bodies in Agriculture, Finance, Cooperative Business Management, or other related subjects.
