1). The University of Ibadan requires 5 or 6 ‘O’ level credit passes in 1 or 2 sittings respectively in the following subjects Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, English Language, Biology/ Agricultural Science, Metal Work, Further Mathematics, Wood Work, Technical. Drawing, Economics, Geography.

2). MAUTECH requires Chemistry, Physics, and Biology/Agricultural Science/Geography/Further Mathematics/ Technical Drawing/ Marketing/Auto Mechanics/Auto Mechanical Work.

3). RSUST accepts ‘O’ level credit pass in Agric. Science or Biology as the fifth subject.

Direct Entry Requirements for Studying Agricultural & Environmental Engineering

If you don’t want to gain admission to study Agricultural & Environmental Engineering, then it behooves you to ensure that you meet the requirements that are listed below.

  • A Level passes or its equivalent in Physics and Mathematics.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER)

1). University of Ibadan accepts two (2) ‘A’ level passes in Physics and Mathematics in addition to UTME requirements. They also accept ND/HND upper credit to 200/300 levels respectively and in addition to UTME requirements. Further Mathematics may not be compulsory but it’s an advantage for all Engineering Courses.

2). MAUTECH accepts `A’ level passes in Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics or their equivalents.

3). FUNAAB accepts ND upper credit in Agricultural Engineering or relevant programs.

4). NDU accepts

5). Not less than ‘A’ level passes or equivalents in Mathematics/Further Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry and five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes which the Use of English Language, Mathematics/Further Mathematics, Chemistry, and Admission should be to 200 level.

b) ND/HND upper credit and above, in the relevant programs which must be from an approved Polytechnic or related institution. ND holders shall be admitted to the 200 level or will have to study in a five (5) year degree program. Meanwhile, HND holders will be admitted to the 300 level. Both the ND/HND holders will need to have 5 ‘O’ level credit passes including Use of English Language, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Further Mathematics.

6). RSUST accepts ‘A’ level passes in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry in addition to UTME requirements. They also accept ND/HND upper credit in relevant programs.
