“Buhari on Wednesday approved the reduction in the cost of forms for the JAMB, NECO, and the Basic Education Certificate Examination fees.
That is to say that this change will take effect from January 2022, by dropping from N5,000 to N3,500 while that of NECO will drop from N11,350 to N9,850.” On the other hand, the fees for the Basic Education Certificate handled by NECO has been slashed from the initial N5,500 to N4,000.
The minister of education, Adamu Adamu, announced that “the President has directed the ministry to look into the reduction following the significant improvement in revenues being remitted to the treasury by the education agencies.”

1. Jamb Applicants are been expected to make sure they complete the online application form by supplying the required details such as name, e-mail address, L.G.A., academic qualification, etc.
2. Candidates will capture and upload their ten fingers biometric and image At their respective JAMB CBT centers.
3. Provide your O’Level A/L grades. If you are waiting for your Result, make sure you upload the result online as soon as the results are available on JAMB’s portal.
4. Make sure you collect your e-slip at the end of registration as evidence of registration.

When is the JAMB 2022 Form closing?
The JAMB UTME/DE registration begins 12th February 2022 and ends 19th March 2022. The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board added that the 2022 Mock examination holds on 20th April 2022. They also added that the UTME will hold from the 20th April to 30th April 2022.
