You are required to score not less than 180 in the JAMB UTME examination if you want to study Applied Ecology in any Nigerian University. Though we urge you to aim for 200 and above to stand a better position to gain admission into any Nigerian University provided you meet other requirements.
There are three (3) compulsory subjects which you are expected to meet in your JAMB UTME examination and the required JAMB Subject combination for Applied Ecology under the Faculty of Sciences includes;

If you don’t intend to apply to study Applied Ecology in any Nigerian University using JAMB UTME, then you must ensure that you satisfy the Direct Entry Requirements for Applied Ecology listed below:
Two (2) ‘A’ level passes in Biology/Botany/Zoology and Chemistry or Physics.
WAIVER/SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
1). BASU accepts IJMB/ ‘A’ level Credit passes in Chemistry, Biology or its equivalent. ND (upper credit) /HND (lower credit) in the following areas: Wild Life and Forestry, Science Laboratory Technology, Environmental Management Technology. The applying candidate must also satisfy the 5 ‘O’ level credit passes in Chemistry, English Language, Physics, Mathematics, and Biology.
