WAIVER/SPECIAL CONSIDERATION

• FUTMINNA requires a credit pass in Physics.
• CRESCENT accepts a credit pass in Islamic Religious Knowledge in place of Chemistry and this applies to candidates who intend to study Computer Science with Islamic Studies.

JAMB Subject Combination for Computer with Statistics

There are only three (3) subjects you will meet in your UTME examination in which you are expected to score not less than 180 if you intend to study the course in any of the Nigerian Universities listed below. The 180 is JAMB’s Cut-off mark for Computer with Statistics, though we urge you to aim higher to stand a better chance of being admitted on merit.

JAMB Subjects for Computer with Statistics:

1). Physics.

2). Mathematics.

3). And anyone (1) of Economics, Biology, and Chemistry.

WAIVER/SPECIAL CONSIDERATION

• UNIPORT doesn’t accept Agricultural Science, Geography, and Economics.
• FUTMINNA requires Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Direct Entry Admission Requirements for Computer with Statistics

There are certain conditions that you are expected to satisfy as a candidate applying for Direct Entry Admission to study Computer with Statistics:

• Two (2) ‘A’ level passes in Physics and Mathematics.

WAIVER/SPECIAL CONSIDERATION

• UNIPORT – No Direct Entry.
• FUTMINNA requires a pass in English Language.
• FUTMINNA  accepts ND (National Diploma) in Computer Studies or Computer Engineering with at least Upper Credit.
