O’Level Subjects for Christian Religious Studies (CRS)

As a UTME candidate who wants to study Christian Religious Studies (C.R.S) in any of the Universities in Nigeria listed below, you are required to have not less than 5 SSC credit passes in the required O’Level subjects listed below:

1). Christian Religious Studies (C.R.S).

2). English Language.

3). Mathematics (at least a pass).

4). And any other two (2) other relevant subjects.

WAIVER/SPECIAL CONSIDERATION

• EKSU requires only Arts subjects.
• TSUJ accepts ‘O’ level pass in Mathematics.
• KASU accepts only subjects from Social Sciences or Arts.
• LASU requires 5 ‘O’ level credit passes which must include English Language.

JAMB Subject Combination for Christian Religious Studies (CRS)

1). CRS.

2). English Language.

3). Anyone (1) Arts or other relevant subjects.

WAIVER/SPECIAL CONSIDERATION

• KWASU accepts any 3 Social Science or Arts subjects.
• UNICAL accepts CRS/IS and any 2 other subjects.

Direct Entry Admission Requirements for Christian Religious Studies (C.R.S)

If you don’t intend to apply for admission to study Christian Religious Studies (C.R.S) in any Nigerian University through UTME, then you must ensure that you satisfy the Christian Religious Studies (C.R.S) Admission Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates:

• Two (2) ‘A’ level passes/NCE to include CRS/Religious Studies.

WAIVER/SPECIAL CONSIDERATION

i). KWASU accepts NCE, IJMB, and Cambridge.

ii). ABUJA accepts a minimum of 10 points in ND upper credit or NCE merit plus the UTME requirements.

iii). LASU accepts:
a). NCE Merit in CRS plus 5 ‘O’ level credit passes in other relevant subjects which must include English Language.
b). Two (2) ‘A’ level passes in Religious Studies or CRS which must not be in more than two (2) sittings, in addition to 5 ‘O’ level credit passes or its equivalent which must also include English Language at not more than 2 sittings.

iv). NASARAWA accepts NCE merit in CRS.

v). OOU and LASU require the satisfaction of the UTME requirements.

vi). ILORIN accepts ND in Religious Studies in Theology of London or from an accredited University in Nigeria or Affiliated institutions.

vii). IBADAN and AJAYI accept NCE Merit in Religious Studies.
