2). EKSU requires five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes which must include English Language and an ‘O’ Level pass in Mathematics at one (1) sitting.

JAMB Subject Combination for Nursery and Primary Education

There are four (4) subjects that are required in your JAMB UTME. Meanwhile, for this course, you are going to meet the following subjects for Nursery and Primary Education which happens to be under the Faculty of Education:

1). English Language.
2). Any three (3) subjects.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION BY UNIVERSITIES

1). DELSU accepts any three (3) subjects.

2). EKSU requires one (1) subject each from Arts or Social Sciences and Sciences.

Nursery and Primary Education Direct Entry Requirements

Below are the conditions that candidates must satisfy if they want to gain Direct Entry admission to study Nursery and Primary Education if the candidate doesn’t intend to use UTME. Candidates require:

i). Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes chosen from relevant subjects.

1). OOU accepts NCE merit in Nursery and Primary Education.

2). EKSU accepts NCE merit in Biology and Health Education or Integrated Science in addition to the UTME requirements. EKSU also accepts PHE (upper credit level) in addition to the UTME requirements.

3). DELSU accepts NCE with merit and above in Education and a teaching subject or Merit in DELSU Diploma in Nursery and Primary Education.
