3). And any three (3) relevant subjects.
WAIVER/SPECIAL CONSIDERATION
A). TSUJ accepts Mathematics (Even an ‘O’ level pass).
B). EKSU requires only Arts subjects.
C). LASU requires 5 ‘O’ level credit passes which must contain English Language.
D). KASU accepts only subjects from Social Sciences or Arts.
JAMB Subjects for Christian Religious Studies (CRS)
There are three (3) O’Level subjects that you will meet in your JAMB UTME examination and you are expected to score not less than 180 to stand a chance of being admitted into any of the Universities in Nigeria offering Christian Theology.
Please be informed that the O’Level subjects listed are also applicable to NECO, GCE, WAEC, and their equivalent. Below is the 3 proper JAMB subject combination for Christian Theology.
1). English Language.
2). CRS.
3). And any Arts subject and any other subject.
WAIVER/SPECIAL CONSIDERATION
1). UNICAL requires CRS/IS and any 2 other subjects.
2). KWASU accepts any 3 Social Science or Arts subjects.
Direct Entry Admission Requirements for Christian Religious Studies (CRS)
Below are all the Direct Entry Admission Requirements for Christian Religious Studies (CRS) for direct entry candidates who don’t want to apply for admission using JAMB UTME.
- Two (2) ‘A’ level passes/NCE to include Religious Studies/CRS.
WAIVER/SPECIAL CONSIDERATION
A). LASU accepts;
i). Two (2) ‘A’ level passes, which must include Religious Studies or CRS at not more than two (2) sittings, in addition to the required 5 ‘O’ level credit passes or it is equivalent which includes English Language which must not be in more than two (2) sittings.
ii). Meanwhile, you are also required to possess five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes in other relevant subjects including the English Language in addition to NCE Merit in CRS.
B). NASARAWA requires NCE merit in CRS.
C). KWASU accepts NCE, Cambridge, and IJMB.
D). ILORIN requires ND in Theology of London or Religious Studies Affiliated institutions or an accredited Nigerian University.
e). OOU and LASU also require candidates to satisfy the UTME requirements.
f). IBADAN and AJAYI accept NCE Merit in Religious Studies.
