University of Alberta Postgraduate Scholarship Qualification Requirements

All applicants must do the following in order to be eligible for the University of Alberta Scholarships:

  1. Have a GPA of 3.7 or higher.
  2. Be a responsible student (ideally a NUFS graduate) interested in the project

A subgroup of Indigenous participants will be added to the RCT. (A subgroup of Indigende persistent hyperglycemia). Outcome measures in the RCTs are liable to reflect dominant western social values, norms, as well as the meanings of health.

Note that these measures only align with a small, and specifically framed, part of the reality of the Indigenous Peoples, their worldview, their health, and their wellbeing.

All My Relations project is geared towards giving voice to the Indigenous participants in the Healthy Food RX RCT as well as qualitatively explore their various experiences of the intervention as well as their perceptions of its impact on both their wellbeing and health.
