Admission Requirements For Education and Accountancy
We will be listing the admission requirements that you need to fulfill to be qualified to study Education and Accountancy in Nigeria. They include both the required JAMB and O’Level subjects for Education and Accountancy, as well as the direct entry admission requirements. JAMB Subject Combination for Education and Accountancy
If you are applying to study education and accountancy through UTME, then you will be required to score not less than 180 in JAMB if you want to study this course at a University. There are three (3) compulsory JAMB subjects that are required for this course and they include:
1). Economics
2). Mathematics
3). And any Social Science subject.
WAIVER/SPECIAL CONSIDERATION
1). TASUED and IAU require Economics, Mathematics, and any Social Sciences subjects.

O’Level Subject Combination & Requirements
When you hear the term O’Level, it is associated with both WAEC, NECO, GCE, and their equivalent. There are five (5) O’Level subjects that are required to study Education and Accountancy and they include:
1). Mathematics.
2). Economics.
3). English Language.
4). And any other two (2) relevant subjects.
WAIVER/SPECIAL CONSIDERATION
1). TASUED accepts five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes which must be in one (1) sitting or six (6) ‘O’ Level credit passes at not more than two (2) sittings. The subjects must include, English Language, Economics, Mathematics, and two (2) other relevant subjects.
2). AAUA requires five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes which must include Mathematics, English Language, Accounts, Economics, Commerce or Bookkeeping.
3). BIU requires five (5) ‘O’ Level passes to include Economics, English Language, Mathematics, and any other 2 subjects.

Direct Entry Admission Requirements
Below are all the admission requirements for direct entry candidates. i.e those who are not applying through UTME to study Education and Accountancy.
1). Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Business Method and one (1) Social Science subject.
WAIVER/SPECIAL CONSIDERATION
1). BIU same as in Accountancy.
2). ABSU and EKSU accept NCE merit or ‘A’ Level in Accountancy in addition to a credit in Economics.
3). EKSU requires ND upper credit in Cooperative Studies. They also accept a pass at NCE general English Language in place of SSC/GCE or NBC credit.
4). LASU accepts two (2) NCE merit/’A’ Level passes in Commerce, Business Method, Economics and Principle of Accounting. They don’t accept ND and HND.
5). IAU accepts two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Statistics, Accounts or Economics. They also accept NCE or ND credit.
6). TASUED accepts two (2) ‘A’ Level passes/NCE merit in Business Management, Economics, Accounting, Geography, and Government. They also accept ND upper credits in Accounting or Final part of Accounting Technician of ICAN.
7). AAUA accepts:
i). Two (2)’A’ Level passes in relevant subjects.
ii). NCE merit in Commerce, Business Method, Principle of Accounting and Economics.
iii). ND at merit level in Banking and Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Business Management.
