WAEC Subjects & Requirements For Industrial Mathematics
Five (5) WAEC subjects are relevant to this course and it applies to both GCE and NECO. The five (5) SSC credit passes required for Industrial Mathematics mathematics include the following:
1). Mathematics.
2). English Language.
3). Physics.
4). Two (2) other Science subjects.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS (WAIVER) REMARKS:
Also, there are certain special requirements needed by most Universities listed on this page. The requirements are sometimes slightly different from the general requirements. In such a case, you are required to satisfy the school’s special requirements (Special consideration) in order not to be denied admission by the school. Below are the special considerations for most Universities.
1). IMSU requires an ‘O’ level credit pass in Chemistry and also accepts an ‘O’ level pass in English Language.
2). DELSU accepts Mathematics, English Language, as well as any three (3) subjects from Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Further Mathematics, Geography, and Economics.
3). EBSU accepts two (2) other ‘O’ level credit passes from Physics, Biology, Statistics, and Economics.
4). UNIBEN accepts ‘O’ level credit passes in Mathematics, English Language, as well as any three (3) of Chemistry, Physics, Geography, or Biology/Agricultural Science.
5). WESTERN-DEL requires five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes which must also include Mathematics, English Language, Geography, Economics, or any two (2) Science subjects.
6). FUTA requires an ‘O’ level credit pass in Chemistry.

JAMB Subject Combination For Industrial Mathematics
First of all, all candidates should note that the JAMB cut-off mark for this course is 180. Also, candidates should note that the four (4) accurate JAMB subject combination for this course includes the following:
1). Maths.
2). English Language (Compulsory For All Courses).
3). Any two (2) of Chemistry, Physics, Economics, Agricultural Science, and Biology.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS (WAIVER) REMARKS
1). WESTERN-DEL requires Maths and any two (2) of Chemistry, Physics, Economics, Biology, and Agric. Science.
2). FUTA accepts Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics only.
3). UNIBEN requires Physics, Mathematics, and any Chemistry, Biology, Economics, or Agricultural Science.
4). EBSU accepts Statistics but also does not accept Agricultural Science.

Direct Entry Admission Requirements For Industrial Maths
To be qualified to study Industrial Mathematics as a Direct Entry candidate, below are the conditions you are expected to satisfy. You are required to possess:
1). Two (2) ‘A’ level passes from Mathematics, Economics, Chemistry, or Physics.
2). NCE merit in relevant subjects.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS (WAIVER) REMARKS
1). DELSU accepts ‘A’ level passes and NCE merit in Mathematics in addition to any Social Science subject.
2). WESTERN-DEL accepts the following:
i). Two (2) ‘A’ level passes to include Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, or Economics.
ii). ND/NCE merit in relevant subjects.
3). EBSU accepts ‘A’ level passes in Mathematics and any one of Chemistry, Biology/Health Science, Economics, Statistics, Physics, and Agricultural Science. EBSU also accepts NCE (merit), ND (upper credit), and HND, in the relevant programs/subjects.
4). UNIBEN is also the same as Mathematics.
5). WESLEYUNI is also the same as Mathematics.
6). FUTA accepts the following:
i). Two (2) ‘A’ level passes in Science subjects including Mathematics and Physics.
ii). ND (upper credit) in Computer Science.
iii). NCE credit in Computer Science/Mathematics, Mathematics/Physics, Computer Science/Physics.
