Bayero University Kano Courses and Admission Requirements 2022/2023

Bayero University Kano which is also known as BUK  was established by the Northern Nigeria Ministry of Education in the year 1960. The institution was formerly known as Ahmadu Bello College; named after Ahmadu Bello, the Premier of Northern Nigeria.

Despite being created in 1960, nevertheless, the first students of the institution began studies in February 1964 and graduated in July 1966. The institution was later renamed as Bayero University College in the year 1975. It moved on in 1977 to change its status to a University and was named Bayero University the same year.
